BE Yoga closes it’s doors.

As many of you know, yoga has been my full time job for a few years now. From managing another studio to opening my own and teaching private and public classes along the way I’ve decided to take a break altogether. On January 31, 2018 BE Yoga will close it’s doors.

The Winter Detox Series will run through the whole month of January (including the morning of the 31st) if you’d like to take class with me before my break. You can find info for that here.

As of now, I don’t know when or where I’ll return to teaching, but when I do you’ll get an email. You can also follow me on Facebook and check my schedule for updates. I’ll be making occasional blog posts, too.

For those who wish to continue their yoga practice I’m more than happy to make recommendations. Please send me a message or speak to me in person.

I know some of you will feel disappointment, sadness, and curiosity about this decision. I love teaching yoga, but being a teacher and operating a studio are two very different animals. In the beginning it was exciting; even exhilarating! But over time the amount of energy it took to run the studio began to drain my ability to teach. So much of my attention was taken by the day-to-day administrative tasks that by the time I sat down to plan my classes I was running on empty. Some days teaching felt impossible. I started to lose sight of the reason I began teaching in the first place- my students. It’s time pause, breathe, and listen for the next step.

Again, I want to say thank you. This wasn’t an easy decision, but I know it’s the right one. May our paths cross soon.

Warmest regards,
